Game Center not loading on iPad 3rd gen

It's working fine on my iPhone 4S but it keeps on loading on the iPad, and doesn't even give me an option to log out since umm it keeps on loading.

So far I've tried killing it from the multitasking dock and restarting my iPad to no avail. I hope it's not Apple's way of saying to update to 4th gen iPad 😟
