iPhone 5 Wifi question

Hello,

I just view that my iPhone 5 connected on a Dlink RangeBooster Wifi N router (over 2,4Ghz band) is detected as 802.11g instead of 802.11n. I tried to connect it on the 5Ghz band and the iPhone is detected as 802.11n.

In the case of using 2.4ghz band is this normal that iPhone uses 802.11g ?

After some investigations with iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 :

- 2.4 Ghz (Mixed g & n) -> iPhone 5 detected as "802.11g", iPhone 4 detected as "802.11n" with both 65M rate.

- 2.4 Ghz (Only n) -> iPhone 5 strangely detected as "802.11g", iPhone 4 detected as "802.11n" with both 65M rate.

- 5.0 Ghz (Onle n) -> iPhone 5 detected as "802.11n" with 65M rate. (iPhone 4 not compatible).

Is there any issue with 2,4 Ghz or just a display bug ? Is there any app available for iphone to display the wifi mode the iphone use ?

NB : iPhone 5 is new (received from Apple 1 week ago) and under 6.0.1 fresh restored on arrival.
