can you fix my iphone 4 lock button

One day I woke up and I went to go get my IPhone off the charger and I usually turn it on through the home button and when i was done using it for the second, I go to lock it and I couldnt press it as easily as normal. I have tryied the Assesive Touch and guys that didnt fix the problem, it just avoided it!
