Can I please ask what is the difference between the different model numbers that come in the 3rd gen i pad? I am looking at buying one and had a look on Argos and they are selling the same ipad but dfferent prices, then once i looked into this i realised there are different models? What are the differences in the model numbers for example A1430 and A1403.

The 1430 is an AT&T GSM iPad 3rd Generation, the 1403 is a Verizon CDMA/GSM model.
The price difference is probably due to the size of the flash storage on each one.

It refers to the Cellular carrier it uses. AT&T and Verizon are cellular service providers for the Internet Data Plans those particular models of iPads use. .
