Unable to connect iPad Mini to Wifi as of this morning

My ipad mini stopped connecting to Wi-fi just this morning. My regular iPad 3 and iPhone 5 and other devices are all able to connect. I downloaded the latest software update (6.0.2) and I am still unable to connect the ipad mini to wifi. It has been reset, restored, etc etc etc and still is not working. I've tried everything I could think of and find for the past few hours. The 6.0.2 update was supposed to fix it as per the description, but it did not. Note that everything was working fine until this morning and nothing changed - no app downloads, nothing with the wifi, etc.

My iPad Mini still will not connect to Wi-fi. Any suggestions?

iPad, iOS 6.0.2, ipad mini on iOS 6.0.1 then 6.0.2

Same issues here. It worked for two weeks and then won't connect to any WiFi at all.

If someone has connected with Apple on this and has heard of a legitimate fix or a recall, I and many others would be happy to know more.

This is obviously a hardware or firmware issue on the mini's part. Many of us have reported all our other iOS, Apple, gaming, etc devices working just fine on our WiFi networks.

I sent mine back to apple for replacement. They sent the same defective ipad mini back and it still does not work. Now apple wants me to get them:

-Router (specific make, model, generation/revision)

-Firmware

-FCC ID

-SSID

-Security/Encryption

-Radio mode

-Channel

but I do not have access to this info as I bought the ipad mini as a gift and im not able to go look up all that info on the wifi network.

I'm seeing the same problem with my ipad mini. I have a Cisco / Linksys E1200 router which my ipad2, iphone 4s and ipod touch 4g all connect without problems. My problem started right around Christmas time when I updated to IOS 6.02. It had been working flawlessly until then which I've spent many hours trying to figure this thing out.. including resetting, restoring, resetting network settings, setting up a new wireless lan with a different wireless router. Changing wireless settings, trying B/G and N network settings. I can connect if it's about 3 feet away from the router but anything past this, the wireless bars are still full (at 3) but if you try browse internet or were streaming video.. it loses connectivity. If I renew IP lease on the connection as it shows that it's still connected... it will renew to a 169.x.x.x address instead of the 192.x.x.x address.

I took it to a Simply Mac store and since it connected to their network.. they said they could not do anything about it. (Simply a waste of an hour of time and gas).. of course that's nothing compared to the many hours already wasted on troubleshooting this dang problem which appears to be a hardware problem which Apple will not admit.

I won this at a work party so I can't even take the dang thing back to a store. At this point I'm almost to the point of using it as a book stop and shelf it.... argh. Apple products used to 'just work' -- looks like they're losing their reputation as the internet is flooded with people having problems like this.

After having my replacement Ipad Mini for a week, and trying all the fixes from various forums, I scheduled a call with Apple this morning and they have agreed to send me out yet another Ipad Mini. Frustrating process, but I guess I am pleased with their response. No Apple store within about 300 km of me so it is shipping.

I really hope the next one works cuz I am not sure what I will do at that point ... Maybe they will give me a deal on an Ipad 3 or something ... ? Drat it all, it is frustrating and reminiscent of my PC computer days which is a rather sad scenario for Apple.

I live in Brazil and bought my mini iPad in a trip to the US by november. I dealded with the same problems as you in December and tried all of the listed suggestions, but mini iPad is only comming to Braizil in march. I tried to go to iTown, but nobody there could help me, since the product is not here yet. So, I'm having to wait three months so I can go to the store to have assistance or to have a new one. THIS CANNOT BE FIXED? I want my iPad working!!

I have the same issue with my iPad mini with retina display,it will not connect to any known or unknown wifi although it sees them. Problem is that with no wifi I can't reset it or switch ooff 'find my ipad' in order to reset it via my apple computer. Have tried the restarts for wifi and iPad.It is 10 weeks old and last backed up to the cloud 11 days a go and will no longer even do this via the computer. It is a catch 22 situation so I am off on the train 70 miles to the nearest genius bar to see what they can do with my pretty games machine.
