unlocked Sprint iPhone 5: unable to send SMS

Dear sirs,

I can't send SMS from my unlocked Sprint iPhone 5 with my Russian card (MTS).

I found your instruction http://blogroll.pcmag.ru/go.php?nid=299798, but the attempt to perform it failed. With Sprint-card I've got on the screen only "iPhone isn't activated".

It became activated with my Russian card, but I'm unable send SMS, all the same. And iMessage doesn't work too.

Could you please to help me with this problem?

My iPhone 5 information is below.

There is no such thing as an "unlocked" Sprint iPhone 5. The SIM slot can be unlocked by Sprint for current Sprint customers in good standing to be used when travelling internationaly. There have been many reports of problems with SMS/MMS messaging when attempting to use a CDMA iPhone on foreign carriers.

I suggest you find someone who can use the phone on Sprint, sell it, and purchase one in your own country.

There is no international warranty on iPhone. Warranty is valid

only in country of original purchase. Nor is any individual iPhone

guaranteed to work with all wireless providers in any country

regardless of protocol or bandwidth or frequency.

KiltedTim gave you the best advise there is concerning your

situation - sell the iPhone to someone who can use it on Sprint

and buy one in your location so you will have a warranty and all

the features supported by your carrier will work.
