Hi all, I just bought my iPhone 5 last sunday and just want enquiry about the battery. I reliased that my phone will also use its battery while at standby mode (not in
use), typically about 1% decrease. Anybody got any idea?? Greatly appreciate and cheers to all!! 🙂

Your phone will consume battery while in standby mode.
If you turn it off completely it will not consume any power.

Yes. All iPhones opperate like this (5, 4S, etc.)
Of course it will keep consuming some of the battery charge but at minimal consumption, you can turn also unused services in order to extend the battery life. Such as wifi and ask to join network option
