How do I fix my disabled iPod touch without deleting any personal information?

I put a lock on my iPod touch, then I forgot the password. I looked on other qustions and it said what I had to do would delet all my imformation. If anyone has an idea on how to fix it without deleting any personal imformation please post anything that would help me out on the bottom.

You can't. It is a security feature.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
