I broke my iPhone back glass panel but Apple wont fix it for free even though it's under Apple care

I have been an Apple user for a long time. I have been using Macs and iPhone for years and i love them.

But a few days ago I dropped my phone and broke the back glass panel.

I rang apple and said that it would cost 211 euro to fix because it does not come under Apple care due to "Accidental damage".

Now apple care is insurance, and insurnace covers acccidents so what id love to know is there something called deliberate damage?

I am very dissapointed in Apple. This is not on.

Has anyone else have any experience of this?

Thanks.
