My IPhone 4 is saying Iphone disabled connect to Itunes

when I go to connect to Itunes it says something about the password on the phone and I can't do the password untill I connect to Itunes

Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Restore “...

If necessary Place the Device into Recovery mode...
