How do you charger ipad on airplane

I would like to know the best charger for an ipad on a long international flight. I purchased a Griffin PowerDuo and am wondering if it is going to work.

Thanks

Probably not with an iPad according to their own compatibility list.

iPads need more power to charge than an iPhone or iPod, so its unlikely the Power Duo has enough power for it.

I'd go for something that specifically states in can charge an iPad. for instance:

Also depending on the Plane and flight, you may find that some have complimentary outlets under the plane seats to plug in devices. Check with the Airline to see if this particular flight might have something like that.

If its a shorter flight, the iPad should be able to outlast the flight comfortably.

This power Duo doesn't seem to offer the battery backup. Which means unless the flight / Plane offers the outlets for it, its just the same as carrying the iPads native charger. It does seem to offer enough power to charge it when connected to a correct power source though.

Again make sure the flight has somewhere to plug this. Not all of them do.

One of my links above offers a backup that can offer extra hours of power for the iPad if needed.
