Iphone 5 App store's "Update" tab blank.

I have found this solution!

I have an iPhone 5 and I saw I had 7 updates. But when I opened the App Store, the tab "Updates" was totally blank. Now it is fixed 🙂

Try next:

- Log out of the App Store.

- Go to "Setting" and "Wifi". Turn off wifi.

- Double press home button and delete (all apps) App Store from the multitasking bar.

- Hold Sleep/Wake button.

- Tap and swipe the arrow to turn off the iPhone.

- Now start the iPhone by holding Sleep/Wake button.
- Open App Store and log in with your Apple ID.
- Go to "Updates" tab and see your updates 🙂

Followed the steps but it hasn't worked.

I'm on a 4S....dunno if that makes a difference.

Try this, it worked for me and many others:

try changing the device’s language by tapping Settings > General > International > Language. Pick a language. Pick any other second language you already know or be familiar with. If you don’t, do not forget to navigate back in a different language. Change the language, launch the App Store, then change the language back to what it was originally.

Still nothing!! I really don't know what else to do......

Update to new iOS 6.1, that fixed it for me.

SUCCESS. I upgraded my iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1 this morning, but that did not fix the problem. Just now followed Mustafa's instructions and my Updates screen is now working. Thanks!

For many people the update to iOS 6.1 was a fix. I hope it will be everybody :D

I've updated to the iOs 6.1 and followed Mustafa's instructions and still having the same issue. Any other ideas?

Also having the same problem, and also reluctant to upgrade to the latest iOS as many people have reported higher battery drains. Anyone else had this? Was planning on upgrading on the next major upgrade.

changing the laguge made it work for me but after i upgrdaded it to 6.1 it stoped working againnn and its so frustrating

I have the same problem too after updating to 6.1.. tried so many ways suggested in several forums..

This is my succesful way of seing the updates again

put on airplane mode.... then turn on the wifi...

and the updates will show magically.
