ipad frozen screen from icloud

My screen is frozen with one statement: iCloud Backup

This iPad hasn't been backed up in

3 weeks. Backups happen when this

iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected

to Wi-Fi.



I can press ok, which is the only option, but nothing happens. I can't slide the bar to open the ipad, I can,t shut it down, it only returns to the same message as stated above. My ipad is plugged in, the battery life is at 78%, and I don,t know what to do to get rid of this message and use the iPad. Any suggestions?

Try this now.


Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
