Hello,
I have a new HP Laserjet M1217nfw printer and have connected in using Wi Fi and works well without the need of a usb lead to my laptop but cannot get it to work with my iPad 3 (latest spec).
I have loaded AirPrint App.
Any help would be gratefully received.

I don't think you need any apps for it. If the printer is airprint enabled and connected to the same network, you should have a print option from the menu icon when viewing pictures or other things that are printable. The iPad should automatically detect your airprint printer. No drivers or extra apps are needed.
