iPod touch 5th gen wont charge

My iPod touch 5th generation won't charge and I am now at 20% battery. I tried taking my case of and charging it, plugging it into different power sources, and even pushing the two buttons method. None of them worked. I do not want to go to apple today; actually I cannot, and I need my iPod TOMORROW!!! I am very dissapointed, this has happened twice 😕😠 I went to get another cord last time... Help would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

- See:

iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting

- Try another cable. SOme Lightning cable are defective. Some do not work initially and some fail after short use.

- Try another charging source

- Inspect the dock connector for bend or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Make an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store.
