how do i fix the display settings zoom settings
when i start my computer the powerbook it is all zoomed in and i cant change it back

Try seeing if you have anything on that might have changed your settings. Go to system preferences>accessibility>zoom.
To zoom out of windows like safari, hold the command key and press the - button.
