I just wonder if there is away to find out if a particular ipad has get been used or registered before or not? And whether it is an Australian stock or not?

Easiest way is to buy it from an Apple Store or authorized seller in Australia.
Thanks but I am asking this because I bought one on eBay as brand new and then received with no packaging or charger. Opened and now trying to prove in my case that it was not new as advertised to get my refund or to prove that it was no Australian stock as it came with an American made Smart Cover already installed! So trying to knock all possibilities. But hey, I think iPad does speak Australian with a an accent :)
