Disk Utility won't let me Repair Disk

I bought a Time Capsule back around Thanksgiving and this is now the second time I've been unable to backup to it from my MacBook Pro via Time Machine. It happened in January and I was unable to repair the disk, so I just returned it for a brand new one. I'm getting the same problem again. My first priority is fixing it, the second priority is figuring out why my backups keep getting corrupted. I see this failure message:

From the Time Machine Buddy Widget I see this message:

Starting manual backup

Attempting to mount network destination URL: afp://Ryan@RyanTC._afpovertcp._tcp.local/Data

Mounted network destination at mount point: /Volumes/Data-1 using URL: afp://Ryan@RyanTC._afpovertcp._tcp.local/Data

Ejected Time Machine network volume.

Giving up after 3 retries.

Backup failed with error: 31

[SnapshotUtilities mountPointForVolumeRef] FSGetVolumeInfo returned: -35

Failed to eject volume (null) (FSVolumeRefNum: 0; status: -35; dissenting pid: -1)

Failed to eject Time Machine disk image: /Volumes/Data-1/MacBook Pro.sparsebundle

When I run "Verify Disk" from Disk Utility on the .sparsebundle, I get the following message. But as you can see, the Repair Disk button is grayed out. So, my main question for this post is this, "How do I repair the disk?"

Don't use Disk Utility to repair the Time Capsule's disk. In order to fix that problem, restart the MacBook Pro and the Time Capsule, and that message shouldn't appear anymore. If it doesn't work, see > http://pondini.org/TM/C12.html

To verify your Time Capsule's disk, just restart it and your Time Capsule will check automatically the hard drive > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4522?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
