I have lost my kindle, how do I get icloud off that device so if I buy books it won't go on it.

The iCloud Find My function and all you can do with it only applies to Apple products. Kindle is not covered by anything through Apple and it's systems.

Not sure if there is a way exactly but I would reccommend changing your iCloud password. Then the kindle wouldnt be able to sync with iCloud because it would have a wrong password. Best option I can think of for you.
