My iPad Mini has stopped working. It has a symbol on the screen that seems to be indicating it should be connected to iTunes. I've done that and it says it should be restored. When I try to do that, it says it can't be restored and gives an error code (1611) Anyone tell me what's happened?

Thanks but I don't know how to do what it says in the security advice because I can't get into the IPad anymore. It is frozen with the symbol that I described earlier.
Security is an issue on the PC not iPad telling you AV is blocking restore
To clear iPad try ..
reset
hold home /sleep buttons until Apple logo appears ,ignore off slider
Then if required follow this
