iPhone 4 randomly losing contacts

Hey everyone,

I have an iphone 4 and over the past few weeks it has just randomly been losing my contacts. I have them all backed up in my computer, but it is still annoying and worrisome. I don't have iCloud syncing turned on, nor does it happen after I have synced or anything. It will just happen in the middle of the day while it is sitting on my desk. I'll look over to answer a text or something and notice all my contacts gone and my texts and phone calls are just listed by numbers. It has only been happening recently. I have 1.6 GB of space left (of a 16 GB iphone 4) so I don't think it is a space issue, but what do I know? Could it be deleting my contacts because its out of room? I'm totally at a loss. Geez. Any help?

Same thing is happening on my 3gs, with loads of free space. I have seen numerous comments about this, on multiple platforms and OS versions. No-one has made any suggestion on how to stop it happening. All you can do is restore your contacts from backup and hope that it doesn't happen too often. Good luck!
