Videos using 4.95GB of memory on my iPhone but I have no Videos

iTunes shows me that I have 4.95GB of memory being used for Video on my iPhone, but I have no videos in the Videos app, or Camera roll or video podcasts. How do I reclaim this 4.95GB?

This happened to me a few months ago when I noticed about 6GB of my storage space on iPhone was occupied in Others. You can do a few things to reclaim that space.

  1. Reboot your iPhone
  2. If rebooting does not help, try uncheck and recheck "Open iTunes when this iPhone is connected" option
  3. If that still does not work, there might be some corrupt data on your iPhone. You might need to reformat your iPhone and restore from your iTunes backup

Method number 2 above worked for me. For more detailed steps, you can visit the following links to get more info.

Hope this helps...
