iOS 6 battery drain fix

Hopefully this will work for others as it worked for me.

I experienced extreme battery drain since upgrading from iOS 5 to 6. My Usage and Standby times (since the last full charge) were almost identical.

After weeks/months of research, a few trips to the local Apple store and several phone resets, I finally came across a post in the Apple Communities (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4317941?start=165&tstart=0) (see second post on page from PeterJA) which helped solve my battery drain problem.

This is what I did to solve the problem:

1. Went to Settings/General/Restrictions.
2. Clicked Enable Restrictions and turned off Safari and FaceTime.
3. Reset my phone.
4. Went back to Restrictions and turned on Safari and FaceTime.
5. Disabled Restrictions.
