Auto correct on my iphone 4S is replacing my text with obscene phrases. How can I fix it? Do I have a virus?

If your phone his not jailbreak, it can't have a virus. Auto correct makes a real phrase, not only words ?
You do not have a virus if your phone isn't jailbroken.
Sounds more like someone is playing a prank on you.
Check Settings>General>Keyboard.
Look in the Shortcuts section.
It is the strangest thing. It is replacing a word like "you" with "kill yourself, ****". No kidding. I don't know what to do about it. I tried clearing out my dictionary but that didn't help.

Someone had to physically get hold of your phone and add them.
To delete them, swipe on the entry you want to get rid of, then tap delete.
Under Settings > General > Keyboard, swipe the shortcut and press Delete.

Not by design and not by a virus (if you're not JB). Someone had to have entered those, so I'd take a look at who has had access to your iPhone.

THanks very much for your help. I wasn't aware of the shortcuts option. I texted my daughter at schoo (high school) and she said some kids took her phone this morning on the bus. They changed her settings as a prank, and it transferred to everyone's phone in the family. Thanks for your help!
Sounds like you're all set up to use the same Apple ID. Might want to re-consider that!
