My iPhone doesn't show the PhotoStream photos wich I uploaded with iCloud Control Panel on my PC. Why?

I just copied some pictures to the "C:\Users\<username>\Pictures\Photo Stream\Uploads folder and I opened the Photos on my iPhone but the PhotoStream is fully empty. I can see the uploaded photos in the My Photo Stream folder but not on my iPhone. Why?
