My iPhone 4 says I have to use wifi in order to use my FaceTime and I was wondering why can I just use my AT&T data connection instead.Every other iPhone could use their FaceTime but the 4 cant.We have an update to be able to use both ?

I believe AT&T requires that you be on one of the "shared" data plans in order to do FaceTime over cellular. If so, either change your plan or complain to AT&T, as this has nothing to do with Apple.

If you want to use cellulat data for facetime, then contact AT&T. Most likely your plan was grandfathered in so you have unlimited data plan, if you want to use cellular data, you will lose that plan and will have to choose one of AT&T monthly plans (no unlimited data).

The iPhone 4, if I recall correctly, does not support FaceTime over cellular, even with the most recent iOS.
