I'm having trouble getting rid of apps that I don't like. I delete them from my iTunes account, but they still appear on my iPad and iPhone even after I sync my devices. Any suggestions?

You will need to delete them from iTunes on the computer as well. Syncing is what is putting them back on the devices.
I did that already. They don't show up in my iTunes account at all, but they will not move off of my other iDevices. Any other suggestions?
Do you have automatic download set on the other devices? Are they all on the same Apple ID? Each devices is setup individually in iTunes when connected to the computer.
All my devices operate on the same Apple ID. I'm not sure what you mean when you refer to "automatic download " set on my other devices.-- If I download something from my iPad, it'll be on my iPhone and my computer automatically. Is that what you mean?
Yes, automatic donwlaods make the prchase appear on all devices, even if it deleted from one. Verify this in settings>itunes and appstores>automatic donwalods OR in itunes. (In windows) Edit>Preferances>Store (In mac) Itunes>Preferances>Store.
Got it. Yes, upon checking, I have everything set to automatic downloads. Would you happen to know where apps "hide" when you can't find them in iTunes, but they're on my iDevices?
The apps that are in the library can be seen when you connect the device to itunes and look under "Apps" on the summary page.
I have done that already. The apps on my summary page on in my iTunes Library are not the same as the apps that appear on my iPhone and iPad.
1. I deleted the apps that I didn't want out of my library, but even after syncing my devices, the unwanted apps are still on the devices.
2. As well, many apps on my devices never even appeared in my iTunes library. I can't get rid of them because I can't seem to access them from anywhere. How do you delete an app from your iPad/iPhone when it isn't even showing up in your iTunes library on my PC?

Yes, everything is set to automatic downloads.
Connect the device and transfer the purchases, THEN use the summary page to remove the apps on the devies.

I tried that earlier and it wouldn't work. I re-tried it again just a moment ago, and I have the same problem. The apps just WILL NOT disappear from my devices.
Even if you try to manually remove the apps? Like hold the app down and hit the X
