Missing apps on my iPad

Suddenly I am missing two apps on my first generation iPad, Wall Stree Journal and the Washington Post. I went to the app store and it says these apps are intalled. I have look in the one folder I have and they are not there. I have restarted my iPad and they are still missing.

WSJ (Wall Steet Journal) is listed under Setting Apps, but not Washington Post. Many other apps are also not listed here but are on my iPad and work.

iPad, iOS 5.1.1

Under settings, general, usage, view all the apps and see if you can delete the apps from them and then reinstall them from the App Store. Try searching for them by going to the search window to the left of your main home screen and search for the apps that aren't showing up.
