I never else after i completed the update

The phone will not say anything else and this is just after it completed the latest update. I cannot do anything else with the phone now.
It happens to jailbroken iPhones or to the ones which were unlocked unofficially. After the Restore/ Update in iTunes, the iPhone gets locked again to original carrier. Inserting SIM in the iPhone from original carrier would help.
