is there a way to disable the "enter a password to unlock the disk" prompt? My macbook has 2 logical drives, one of them is encrypted, and everytime I start the Mac os x it pops up with that prompt.
Any help is appreciated!

There should be a checkbox to save the password in the keychain.
Sorry, I forgot to mention is that i don't want to save the password. I just want os x not to prompt me with the password window every time i starts up
You would have to create the file /etc/fstab with an entry to prevent the volume from mounting automatically. That's advanced system hacking that I don't recommend, but if you want to do it, see the fstab(5) man page for instructions (you must be shell-literate to do this.) Otherwise you're going to be prompted.
