iphone 5 cracked screen - Apple Cover?

Hi

Do you know if Apple will cover me for a cracked screen? I've been told they do and they don't from lots of different people.

I don't have insurnace, I still have warranty. I basically dropped it and as usual it landed on the front.

Any help pllleeeeaaassseee
