I'm getting a message that I have 0 bytes available on my IPHone. I have very few apps, just a dozen photos and that's it. Any idea where my space has gone?

Plug your phone to your computer open itunes, then click on the phone, you should see a bar at the bottom - that shows you how much data is used for apps/music/pictures/ others.
I do and the other says it's full but I have less than one GB used on this phone
and it says that I'm 7 MB over the 13.7 GB used. What is in "Other" that's eating my memory. I've deleted almost all of my apps and everything else. ITunes won't even sync my phone because it says there's no space. What is "Other?"
Restore the phone through iTunes and setup as new.
This will bring back all available space and you can turn start again.
How many GB is others. If other is between 1 or 2 GB that is normal, if you have 7GB then that usually means corrupted files.
Other includes - text/MMS/ app datas/ email attachment..
Other is 13.62GB. What could it be? How do I get rid of it? My main concern is loosing all of the address book.
Wow... that means you have some corrupted files..
The only true way to get it back to normal is to restore your phone as new as suggested by Rick.
Do you sync your contacts via iTunes?
I'm a graphics designer so I do get a lot of large imaged emailed them to me. But I delete them on my phone since I download them on my IMAC. I never open them on the phone. Even though I delete them -- does the phone still think they are there?
Could be, but they can also be in your sent folders..
You can try this but not sure if it will work. Backup your phone via iTunes, after it is backup, then restore your phone after it is done you can restore from the backup you made.
Then you can see if the other fields went down.
Thanks -- it helped a little. Still over capacity by 3 mbs but I showhow have 31MB available! Guess I'll take it into the AT&T store. The other fields beside "Other" are so small -- they barely show.
Have you tried deleting your sent folder items...
I don't think AT&T or Apple can do anything for you, they'll probably suggest to restore your phone as new.
Does that mean I loose everything?
You would lose text message.. But you could always revert back with the backup you made.

Music/apps/contacts should be in your itunes library. For contact make sure your sycing it to whatever program you use in iTunes. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1386
Before you restore as new, try deleting your text messages. Especially any that have video/pictures - they all take up valuable space and will eventually keep you from adding anything new. The device only has a finite amount of storage.
