My iPad Mini refuses to connect to any WiFi network anywhere.

My iPad mini refuses to connect to any sort of WiFi network anywhere. The only luck I have is at my apartment where if I hold it very close to the modem it will connect, sometimes only after a few tries. It's really bothersome. I have tried the "reset all networks" option, and I think it connected without me having to hold it very close to the modem once... but it shortly resumed its stubbornness to log onto any networks.

Please help me! 😟
