Backup problem with iPhone 4
My iPhone 4 is set to backup automatically to the iCloud but since 17-APR the backup date does not change when I sync the phone. Anyone else have this problem?

Syncing and backing up are not the same activity.
Backing up automatically to iCloud requires your iPhone to be plugged in, locked, and connected to WiFi.
I believe you are doing syncing using iTunes on your computer.
While syncing, you should see a "Back up now" button on the right side of iTunes on the iPhone's summary page.
Thanks for input. Because I've set backup to automatic, I haven't run into this problem before. I should have mentioned that I did try the manual backup - several times! - but the date I've tried the manual backup and it looks like it's working but the date still remains the same... April 17th! I'll look into my WiFi settings... I was on the road, so that may be the problem!
Well, that didn't work! I did rework the WiFi settings and ran the manual backup but my settings still show last backup was 17-APR..... guess I'll have to make a trip to the Genius Bar!
My guess is your manual backup went to iTunes instead of iCloud.
Check iTunes Preferences (under iTunes in the menu bar), then click Devices at the top of the Preferences window. Does it show a more recent backup?
I spoke too soon! It did work....but I had to run the backup manually from the iPhone. When I look in iTunes, it now shows the backup was completed. Yeah! Thanks for the pointer towards the WiFi settings.
Great! By the way, note, note that the iTunes backup contains slightly more information than the iCloud backup ... a useful tidbit in case you need to restore in the future.
