Hi, so a couple of days ago, I had my cracked screen replaced at iSupply. Now I'm finally listening to music, but the 'lower volume' button on the side isn't working. Also, there's this light thing at the top left corner of my iPod. It's on when my iPod's on, but off when my iPod's off.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem return it to iSupply since it appears you have a hardware problem. Maybe caused by the drop or by the repair.

I've reset the device and reset the settings. Nothing has worked>
When I try to restore from backup, it says: "Not enough free space." I have about 8 GB space left.
Try just restoring fro vactory settings/new iPod or delete some apps that are on your iPod from your iTunes libary. You can redownload them later by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Well, I deleted some apps, didn't work.
I was going to restore to factory settings, but I have a bunch of pictures and videos (all equal to about 10GB) and the free iCloud storage is 5 GB.
If I bought earphones with volume control, would they work with my iPod even if the 'volume down' button doesn't work?

Then delete from your iPod. Then try making a backup and then restoring from that backup
