Does Apple's 1 year warranty cover a scratched camera lens?

I (somehow) managed to scratch my iPhone's saphire crystal lens. I want to know if I can get a free replacement under Apple's 1 year warranty, and if not how can I go about fixing this. It doesn't affect the camera's focus, but it does leave an annoying little line in all of my pictures I take with it. I fear that it might lead to bigger troubles if I don't get this fixed eventually. What can I do about this?
