Best way to find an Ipad 2 wifi only that has been stolen or lost? Have "Find My Iphone" installed but device not turned on. Please Help!

Unfortunately, find my has a fatal weakness in that it has to be on the internet to be seen...which is very hard with wifi only devices. Not to mention that a knowledgable thief can defeat the software very easily.

Call the airport and airline, give them the serial number of your device and file a police report. You might get lucky. Beyond that, all you can do is protect your data. Change your passwords for anything you accessed on that device, including your APple ID

Chances are the person wiped it and plans to resell it and has interest in your data but you can't be too careful.

If it every does turn up, that police report is the key to reclaiming your property.

There is no way to locate it with Find My iPhone/iPad unless the device is turned on and connected to WiFi. Contact the airport and ask if it was tured in.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.

Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.
