delete music album ios7

While synchronising your iphone with iTunes go to the music tab, uncheck that album and it wont be there anymore.

You can not do it on your iPhone.

Seriously?.. So much for cutting the cord...I have to connect my iPad AND my iPhone to my mac to get albums off of them. How does a feature like this get omitted? Well, now I know not to put music on my idevices now. Will just listen to the radio in my car. Really irritated...I don't want to delete one song at a time...that's not very good on the usability...I think going into setting and turning stuff on and off...really? 5 steps to delete something???? Fix it, so I can use iTunes again.

You can delete song by song from your phone, but not entire albums. It's one of the blunders in the new iOS.

That is just dumb. Plain. Old. Dumb.

Unfortunately, you cannot remove an album using just the device. You can remove songs and you remove all your songs, but not individual albums.

Please Fix this Apple, so annoying individually deleting songs i downloaded from the cloud but no longer want on the phone. I can't clear them out using an Itunes sync.

I hoped it was just me not being able to use it well, but deep down i knew this was goong to be the answer.

With this issue, the scrambled track lists and the removal of the tiled album look, the music app has really become very poor in ios 7.

The method linked by 95 bulls works, but it is the stupidest workaround imaginable. Apple needs to fix this.

I hope Apple gives priority to fixing this problem, which is even more urgent for classical music.

You should know that only the Matthaeus Passion consists of 103 items ('songs')!

dardenrexhepi - when you go to the albums view in itunes though (on desktop), there are not boxes to check - it doesn't list the same as songs. So it's the same problem, no? you have to go in and check off every song? or am i missing something here.

What i ment is when you want to synchronize your music via itunes (i-tunes - iphone - music) there you can check/uncheck boxes of your music by album(s), song(s) or playlist(s).
