SNMP issue

My ISP is telling me that I am running an outdated SNMP that leaves them vulnerable to attack and that unless I upgrade my firmware or disable the SNMP server in my router options, they will block my access. I am not tech savvy. Could someone please translate and tell me what I need to fix and where I can find the fix I need. Thanks KamikazeMyk.

The current version of Airport Utility (6.x) which works on Mavericks 10.9 will not allow you change it.

You either need an older version of OSX as AirPort Utility 5.6.1 for Leopard/Snow Leopard shows or a Windows machine for AirPort Utility 5.6.1 for Windows.

Once you have this version, you can run it, and choose the Airport Express -> Manual Setup -> Advanced and uncheck 'Allow SNMP' and click on Update.

The model of the Airport used will be shown when you click on the Airport Express, the right pane will have a description on the top.

Here is a screen shot from the Windows version.
