Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have noticed that for every email I send from my phone the sent box shows 2 or 3 copies of the same email. It also sends multiple copies of emails when only 1 was sent. I mailed myself and received only 1 email back but the sent box shows two. Is there a fix for this? ps. It is a hotmail email account.

Is the "Copy me" or Blind copy me" box checked? If so you should additionally be seeing copies of your replies in the inbox
Also - is the time on the sent emails the same or is the time staggered by a few minutes? The latter could point to the emails perhaps getting stuck on a busy outbound server
Finally - I know you received only one email when you emailed yourself but is it possible to ask a recipient or two if they have received more than one copy of the same email?

Check iPhone Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Mail>is "Always Bcc Myself" checked?

The cc and bcc is not checked. The time stamps of when they are sent show the same times. And yes, one recipient that I know of says they get multiple copies.

After a few sync's it should work as expected.
Drafts is set to "on my iPhone". Sent and deleted mailboxes are set to "on the server". Lost me on step 5. What is mail.app? and sent mailbox of the provider?
That is referral to the Mail app on the iPhone
