ios 10.3.1 wifi & gps problems

After I did 10.3.1 update my iphone 6 has problems with the wifi and the gps signal. my wifi signal is very weak, imagine that in my house if I am 10 meters away from the router I lost the signal! when I use googsle maps or maps the apps can't find the exact location so as a result I cannot get the correct instructions! I restored my iphone several times from itunes directly, as a new phone, zero result, same problem. I also tries to reset network settings, zero result! Is this ios 10.3.1 bug?? anyone can help me?

Hello, I have the same issue in my Iphone 6... after upgraded to 10.3.1 my GPS is never accurate (GPS is never found when using waze) and my Wi-Fi connection is terrible (just works when I am in the same room in front of the router.

Kind of frustrating that there isn't any fix or workaround.....

Having same horrible wifi reliability on 10.3.2 on an iPad Mini 4. Prior to update it was rock solid. I use it on a corporate network with very strong wifi coverage. The network does have 802.11r "fast roaming" enabled, and is Cisco hardware, in case that is of any interest to anyone at Apple. I know certain versions of Android have had issues with that.

Is there any Apple representative in this forum? Since I have updated to this 10.3.1 and 10.3.2 combo my iPhone has become virtually useless due to poor Wi-Fi. Apple representative should guide us what options we are left? I am now already using Oppo mobile phone. Some people have recommended changing Wifi antenna and flex cable, if apple representative or any expert confirm that this will work I am ready to change that.

Same exact issue. Updated to 10.3.1 and gps stopped working. I downloaded gps satellite diagnostic tool which shows I'm not connecting to any gps satellites. I ran through all the troubleshooting steps, restored the software at the Apple Store and was told it's a hardware issue and they won't do anything. Just to prove my point that it's not software I replaced the gps antenna (fairly simple). Still does not work. Very poor look for apple - and no official acknowledgement of the issue. Shame!

the genius bar told me that Apple knows that problem, and it's working for a fix with 10.3.3; but I don't belive them.

At the moment I have a perfect phone, whitout any hardware problems, that ONLY for an Apple's update of firmare, don't work properly. I'm thinking to ask for a legal in a consumer association...

I'm searching people who have the same problems, notice and advice in internet, to prove that I'm not the only one

Let's be optimistic, iOS 11 may resolve the issue. I have already enrolled with iOS 11 public beta and waiting for its release within this month. Let's see what it bring for us. My iPhone is almost useless without Wi-Fi at the moment. Very upset with its loss. Unfortunately Apple has yet not accepted this problem. May be only a limited number of people are suffering this problem and remaining are fine with it.

People have been "optimistic" through several iOS updates. Until Apple acknowledges the problem, they have no incentive to correct the issue. 99% of people having this issue are on iPhone 6 and older "out of warranty" phones. I for one have abandoned my iPhone for a Galaxy S8 and have no intentions on returning to Apple Products. Perhaps if enough of us do this, Apple will get the picture.

I have exactly the same problem with my iPhone 6. And I don't wanna be pesimistic, but I've even tried the new iOS 11 beta and the problem still there. I don't know what to do it's really frustrating. I noticed the problem first with iOS 10.3.2, then I thought it could be solved with the 10.3.3 beta, but none of the 2 betas released until now fixed it. Yesterday I installed the iOS 11 beta and nothing, it's the same, now I'm downgrading to 10.3.1 and the problem it's there. I'm crying, is my phone broken??

I fully agree with you. Unfortunately we have no choice but to be optimistic. I myself have already switched to Android phone as I am yet unable to fix the issue with my iPhone 6. It is really very disappointing that Apple does not care about it's coustmers who are now out of warranty. The only thing I could see is that if someone make claims to apple through consumer protection agency.

I have iOS 10.3.2 on a 6s+ and experiencing buggy GPS using map apps (inaccurate or delayed location) - contacted Apple support chat today and they did a remote diagnosis on my hardware and found no issues and suggested the following: go to Settings > General >Reset > Reset Privacy and Location Settings and then attempt to use the Maps for 24 hours. Will try out Google Maps in my car using cellular data and see how it goes.
