External Apple DVD player to 12.9 M1 chip IPad

Things have moved along since 2014. It’s now 2022. Can i use an ext. DVD player in my M1 chip IPad? With adapters of course.

iOS/iPadOS does not support connection of optical media drives. As such, direct access to optical media (CD, DVD, BD) is not possible.

You’ll need to access this material using another computer, such as PC or Mac, that support optical media.

Things have, also, moved along since DVD discs and players, also.

Like streaming video and digital video downloads.
