WhatsApp messages appearing green

I don’t like green. Can I revert to blue?

What can I do to revert to blue? I hate this them not comfortable to my eyes.

My watsapp always appear blue even if i delete and install again what is wrong i dont know is my watsapp or i phone 14 been hack

I don’t like the new green and good to see I’m not the only iPhone user who hates it. To make matters worse, I can’t find the change appearance settings anymore. Apparently Meta decided to change it, to match their logo, to give a “seamless” appearance to the brand. Which is great if you have Android, but for iPhone users, who are used to blue text, it just looks like WhatsApp is sick, or having technical issues. Also, I dislike the colour green in general, it makes me think of hospitals and pharmacies.

I really hope WhatsApp reverse this. It causes concerns that you are sending an expensive text (videos/photos) rather than a WhatsApp message. It is change that is potentially harmful and not customer focused.

Thats a new WhatsApp update, WhatsApp decided to change the color to green to match the color of WhatsApp brand, this changes have only been experience by few many ios users have not yet experienced this but in the near future this changes will roll to all users.

I updated twice my WhatsApp and it’s still blue idk why, I uninstalled twice too

Simply put, you can't really change the color of the bubbles. But if you put the phone in dark mode, the color changes automatically. The catch is that there are only two colors, i.e., light green and dark green. On the other hand, you can change the color of your chat background, or use any image on it.

I can't really understand what your are trying to say in the second part of your sentence, are you saying it is still blue after you deleted and reinstalled?

If so, it SHOULD be green after reinstalling it as it should come with all the updates after reinstalling it.

Or did you mean 'after you reinstalled it, it turns green'

If that is the case, then you are right, it's supposed to be like that. WhatsApp recently made a change to their app, that many iPhone users aren't happy about. For this reason I haven't installed the latest update until WhatsApp listens to its customers and allows customisability with colours, or returns it back to blue

But why do you all hate the green bubble, I’ve been wishing mine could be green honestly it feels really good being unique and different from others

I want mine to change from blue to green
