iPad 9 battery drains with the screen off

I have the iOS 17.4.1 in my iPad 9 and last I charged it was on Saturday. Before charging it I noticed this issue so I turned off bluetooh, location services, everything I could think of. I already had it on airplane mode, no background app refresh. After doing everything to stop this issue, today, Wednesday, I turn on the screen for the first time since charging it and it's on 66%.

On settings-battery it says that there is 0 time with screen on, no battery usage by app. But a steady decline in battery percentage since I unplugged it. The only thing on is Wifi.

I used to have an Ipad 3 which I could leave turned on, screen off, on wifi for a month and the battery would stay almost the same.

Please tell me it's an issue with software and not that I should't have changed iPads 😭
