Unable to organize my playlists on Apple Music on my iPhone 13 Pro Max

Ever since the software update, I cannot customize my music playlists! When I edit a list to put the songs in the order I want, the software doesn't respond (yes, I selected sort by playlist). Also, when I select songs from my Library to create a playlist, Apple selects a random song that has the same album cover rather than the specific song I select!
