I have two Home Pod mini's on different sites of my room, is there a way to change te volume balance between the two or bass/treble

You can change both's volume; which device are you controlling them from?
While you can reduce the bass, there's no way to fine-tune the bass and treble. You can suggest this as a feature here: Product Feedback - Apple.
