i returned my original device after receiving my replacement but was still charged the full amount!

back glass broken, otherwise great condition, pay for apple care + theft & loss and did express replacement therefore if there were ANY other issue with the device other than JUST THE BACK GLASS, i should’ve only been charged 99$ plus taxes shipping etc, however, i was charged the FULL AMOUNT OF almost $1700!!!!!!!!
