New Flag Emojis

I would like to request three new emoji flags which I believe should be put into the emoji selection. These flags are the Tino Rangatiratanga or Māori/Indigenous NZ flag. The Aboriginal flag of the First Nation people of Australia. And the Hawaiian flag which represents the Kanaka Maoli people.

these would be nice additions as it helps to represent underrepresented people and I assure you that they would be avidly used

Emojis are created by the Unicode Consortium, not Apple, and they're no longer taking requests for new flag emojis. Regional ones can only be added for places or groups which have an ISO-3166 code; due to the large number of them and limited unit capacity, very few of those are actually implemented.

Apple does not make up their own emojis, there is a third party that creates standard emojis so they are the same on all devices. You can view quite a bit of information from the Unicode Consortium about requesting emojis and also see which ones have already been submitted.
