I subscribed to Apple Music, it destroyed my iTunes collection

As soon as I subscribed to Apple Music, it destroyed my ITunes collection. Began renaming my music as Apple Music and would not let me download to my devices. Worse after unsubscribe it to Apple Music it to days to restore, but now date added is all screwed up. Let us edit the date added field. Even using date modified does not work well as it does not copy to play order to the device.

Is there a better solution than using ITunes or Apple Music that allows us to control how our music and videos are ordered and played?

Apple knows about the problem, FIX IT.
