Small gray square button with a white circle in the middle that I can move around my screen

It doesn’t show when I take a screenshot and when I double tap on it it opens the control center. I remember putting it on from accessibility or something in settings but I don’t remember how I put it on or how to take it off. Please help it’s so annoying 😭

Wondering what happens if you tap the button ...

and if you are seeing this button on an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac,

in order to help track down it's settings, so you may be able to turn it off or remove the feature.

It would also be helpful to know which OS version you use.

Eg: for iOS 17 or later on iPhone 15 : To remove a control you added to control center

  1. Go to Settings  > Control Center.
  2. To add or remove controls, tap or next to a control.
